After decades as a scene-stealing player in the Muppets troupe, it looks like Miss Piggy might finally be stepping into the spotlight on her own like never before.

Yes, 11 years after her last foray onto the big screen in the film Muppets Most Wanted, it’s been reported that a Miss Piggy movie is in the works.

And somehow, that’s not even the most exciting part.

You see, the news was revealed by Jennifer Lawrence during an int erview with Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers on their podcast Las Culturistas .

During the conversation, Jen revealed that she and fellow Oscar winner Emma Stone were co-producing a new film in which everyone’s favourite porcine icon would be taking centre stage.
