Breach of probation

On November 4 at 11:54 p.m., Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police could hear a male and a female voice yelling. Officers spoke with the female resident and learned the that the male was bound by conditions to not communicate with the female. The male was hiding outside and attempted to evade police but was taken into custody without issue. As a result of investigation, a 39-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with six counts of failure to comply with a probation order. He was held for a bail hearin
