The first snow of the 2025-2026 season is upon us.

The National Weather Service office in Cleveland forecasts a chance of rain and snow showers late Sunday, Nov. 9. The forecast calls for snow showers after 1 a.m. Nov. 10, likely continuing into Nov. 11.

“For the snowfall this weekend, it’s more of less into late Sunday or early Monday when the bulk of the snowfall starts,” said Raelene Campbell, meteorologist with the National Weather Service. “For Sunday night through Tuesday morning the lakeshore will see one to two inches. Then in southern Erie County or northern Crawford, that area will see up to four inches."
