DAVISON TWP, MI - Davison Township officials have closed the township offices on Wednesday, Nov. 5, after a water main break left a stretch of Irish Road without service.
The break occurred between the railroad tracks and Court Street, according to an announcement from the township.
According to the Genesee County Drain Commission Waste and Water Division, repairs are expected to take between eight and 10 hours, leaving nearby properties without running water during that time.
Water crews are on site working to restore service as quickly as possible.
About one year ago, a water main break occurred at the same Davison Township location .
The break has caused a lane closure on Irish Road between Davison Road and Court Street, per the Genesee County Road Commission.
