HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Mesker Park Zoo and Botanic Garden started a food pantry.

Zoo officials say they came together to create a community food pantry. They explain it’s stocked and separated by bagged meals, canned food, boxed food and miscellaneous items.

People are invited to stop by the Camp Zoofari entrance at 2421 Bement Avenue if they're in need.

If anyone is interested in helping zoo officials keep the pantry stocked, they should reach out to the zoo directly.
