A Scottish distillery has unveiled plans for a 'Santa Dash' this December. Participants will be rewarded with a free festive drink, while the winners of the race will receive with a bottle of gin.

On Tuesday, November 4, Stirling Distillery announced that "Stirling's first-ever Santa Dash" will take place on December 6. Kicking off at 3pm, the event will see runners dressed as Santa Claus head out on a one-mile jog around Stirling .

The 'not flat' route will begin and end at Stirling Distillery on Lower Castlehill in the historic city. It will take participants past Stirling's famous castle and up a gentle incline back to the distillery.
