The NFL trade deadline has come and gone, and the Jacksonville Jaguars were one of the potential playoff teams to bolster their squad with the addition of wide receiver Jakobi Meyers from Las Vegas.
The Jags are 5-3 and currently occupy the final playoff spot in the AFC, but have had some issues with their presumed-top receiving option Brian Thomas Jr. throughout the year. Meyers was also a trade candidate from the beginning of the season, when he requested a move out of Sin City, and is coming off of his first-career 1,000-receiving-yard season in 2024. Catching passes from Geno Smith and sharing targets with Brock Bowers, Meyers has 33 catches for 352 yards without a touchdown.
