TRAVERSE CITY — Like many high school graduates in northwest Michigan, Lydia Craig Aulisi couldn’t wait to spread her wings and explore new worlds following her graduation from Suttons Bay Schools back in 2011.
After a year at Northwestern Michigan College, Aulisi’s life path took her to Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and then to graduate school at George Mason University in Washington, D.C., where she earned a doctorate degree in industrial-organization psychology. She worked in organizational and workforce development for firms in the Washington area and in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she’s worked the last three years as the director of workplace research and insights for the financial giant Fidelity Investments.
