Indiana University Auditorium is bringing together a classic American movie and its IU Symphony Orchestra for two one-of-a kind showings of the 1939 "The Wizard of Oz."
The Jacobs Live at the Movies event will have the film on the big screen accompanied by a live performance of the musical score by the orchestra, under the direction of conductor Constantine Kitsopoulos. In addition to two performances of the film and live music, there will be pre-show talks both days.

"The Wizard of Oz" will be screened in its entirety with the IU Symphony Orchestra performing the score live, with the music and cinematic action synchronizing in real time.
