Voters across Texas have approved an array of new constitutional amendments.
Roughly 15% of the state's 18.4 million registered voters turned out to cast ballots in the Nov. 4 election, which featured 17 statewide propositions covering the gamut of issues from tax breaks and water infrastructure to voting rights and workforce education.
In El Paso County, roughly 10.7% of voters turned out to cast ballots, weighing in on the statewide propositions and a handful of races in Horizon City, Socorro, Tornillo, the village of Vinton and Clint.
All 17 statewide propositions were approved. The vast majority of those were related to tax cuts and, unsurprisingly, Texans approved them, some by wide margins.
