Rapper Flavor Flav gave out some surprising scores while guest judging on the Tuesday, Nov. 4, episode of “Dancing With the Stars.”
Guest judges often go easier on contestants than the regular panelists, which is why many viewers were shocked that Flav, 66, was the sole reason Alix Earle and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, didn’t get a perfect score for their paso doble.
Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli all gave Earle 10s, but Flav gave her a 9. Even more puzzling, Flav proceeded to give the same score to Andy Richter, who is consistently at the bottom of the leaderboard every week.
Flav has since explained that he meant to give Earle a 10.
