EXCLUSIVE : Former NASA astronaut Scott Kelly has joined forces with Italian producer Andrea Iervolino ( Ferrari ) and his Space11 Corp banner for the upcoming “romantic space drama” I See You , which is aiming to be the first western movie to send a filmmaker into orbit to capture a scene.

Kelly, a veteran of four space flights who commanded the International Space Station, is serving as an advisor on the script which is written by Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider. Plot and cast details haven’t been revealed but Iervolino is aiming to blast off in 2026.

We’re told by Iervolino that discussions are in an advanced stages to secure a rocket which will carry the plucky director into space. The filmmaker has yet to be revealed. Iervolino also says he plans to integrate up to 85 perce
