THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that there are people who are carrying out corruption as a form of power in some lower-level offices of some departments that directly come into contact with the people. The Chief Minister was inaugurating the annual conference of internal vigilance officers of various departments at the vigilance headquarters.
"Corrupt people will not be protected. There will be strong measures. A corruption-free and pro-people administration is intended. The reason we can move forward by taking strong action is because we are not in league with corruption.
