One of the best high school football games in the country will not be played as scheduled.

IMG Academy confirmed with USA TODAY's Florida Network that the highly anticipated matchup against St. Frances (Md.) will not take place on Saturday, Nov. 8 as previously scheduled.

The game was set to be a major barometer for deciding the No. 1 team in the country and a national champion.
