OLMSTED TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- The Olmsted Township Board of Trustees will have one new face and one familiar face come January.

Current Olmsted Falls Board of Education member Bob Perez (1,381 votes) and incumbent Riley A. Alton (1,359 votes) defeated Chris Anagnostopoulos (711 votes), according to final, unofficial results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.

Anagnostopoulos unsuccessfully ran for the same seat in 2021.

“I’m grateful that so many of my neighbors and fellow residents trust me and Bob Perez to serve the people of Olmsted Township,” Alton said.

“At the end of the day, these results aren’t about me. They are about the thousands of working people I spoke with on their front porch who shared their hopes and aspirations, fears and frustrations, and everything in between.
