BATH, N.Y. (WETM) — A Bath man was arrested after police said he was inside someone else's apartment with a big knife on Monday, prompting officers to de-escalate the situation.
Robert E. Wood, 48, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 3, on the charges of menacing a police officer (class D felony) and possession of a weapon in the third degree (class D felony), as stated in a release from the Village of Bath Police Department.
On Monday, around 1:17 p.m., officers from the Village of Bath Police Department were sent to an apartment located on Pine Street in Bath, for the report of a man, later identified as Wood, inside and armed with a knife, the release said.
