ESTACADA, Ore. (KPTV) - The family of 19-year-old Emily Rose Taylor has announced a reward in hopes of solving her homicide that happened two years ago.
On Nov. 6, 2023, deputies with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office were called to a shooting on Highway 211, just outside of Estacada. Deputies found Taylor dead at the scene, along with Jacob Allen Cutts who had been shot in the hand.
The sheriff’s office said Taylor and Cutts had been driving south on Highway 211 in a red Jeep Cherokee when detectives believe suspects traveling in a silver Toyota Corolla or Camry with unknown Oregon plates fired several shots at them.
The suspects have not yet been located or identified. The motive of the shooting is still not known.
On Wednesday, Taylor’s family announced a $2,500 reward.
