The proposed changes are a continuation of the district’s controversial 2023 restructuring plan, which aimed to address the school system’s declining enrollment numbers. The restructuring closed six schools, relocated two others and called for the construction of two new campuses, Bonella St. Ville Elementary and Washington Elementary.
