Rubin&Chapelle will soon open a Los Angeles boutique in Melrose Hill .

Designers Sonja Rubin and Kip Chapelle — who founded the label in New York City in 1997 — unveil their second California location, following Newport Beach, in one of L.A.’s most vibrant emerging areas. Surrounded by art galleries and trendy restaurants, the space embodies Rubin&Chapelle’s ongoing dialogue between fashion, architecture and art.

“California is a major market for us, and opening two locations here is a direct response to strong West Coast demand. Our California clients have been engaged for years, and this felt like the right time to offer another dedicated physical space where they can experience our designs,” the duo said in an exclusive statement to WWD.
