ANN ARBOR – Washtenaw Community College will host Race to Talent to help employers grow their workforce through on-the-job skills training and education partnerships.
The free event will be from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, November 14, in the Morris Lawrence Building (Room 101) on the WCC campus, 4800 E. Huron River Drive .
Co-sponsored by WCC and Michigan Works! Southeast, the event is designed to break down barriers to Registered Apprenticeships and open opportunities for employers, educators and workforce leaders in the state.
Employers interested in learning more about apprenticeships and how to partner with WCC to customize their own apprenticeship programs are asked to register at www.mwse.org/racetotalent . Representatives from all sectors are invited.
