A new £105 million NHS facility in Nottinghamshire aiming to start a "new era" in healthcare will soon open its doors.
The 70-bed National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC), which will help people recover from serious injuries and illnesses, will soon be handed over to Nottingham University Hospitals ( NUH ).
It's located on the Stanford Hall Estate, just south of East Leake , and is tasked with transforming rehabilitation care across the country.
The centre will treat people from across the region who have either suffered from a serious or potentially life-changing injury or illness.
This will include pancreatitis, fractures, broken bones and head and spine injuries.
