INDIANAPOLIS — The biggest prize of the NFL’s trade deadline will hit the ground running with his new team.

New Colts cornerback Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner will practice with the Colts on Wednesday, intent on playing against the Falcons in Berlin on Sunday as long as he can clear the NFL’s concussion protocol.

Gardner suffered a concussion against the Panthers in Week 7, missed New York’s Week 8 win over the Bengals and spent Week 9 on a bye, meaning he’s had two full weeks off, and Jets coach Aaron Glenn had indicated this week that he thought Gardner would return to the lineup.
