BOSSIER CITY, La. - Brookshire Grocery Arena fans will soon pay more to see their favorite acts.
The Bossier City Council voted Tuesday to raise the ticket surcharge from $3 to $5 per ticket and extended its management contract with ASM Global for another five years.
City Attorney Charles Jacobs explained the new breakdown.
“The $3 fee per ticket is going to increase to $5. One dollar goes to ASM Global, and the other four will be retained by the city for capital maintenance improvements,” Jacobs said.
The city’s share will go into a dedicated restoration fund used to repair and upgrade the 25-year-old arena, including HVAC systems, roofing, fire safety and concession areas.
