A Cedar Rapids man was arrested Tuesday on charges that he fired a gun at two men who were in a car in an alleyway next to his house in the 500 block of Sixth Ave. SW.

Brodie Breyer, 24, is charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, going armed with intent, and use of a dangerous weapon in the commission of a crime.

According to a criminal complaint, Breyer came out of his house with a gun on Sept. 15 and approached a vehicle in the alleyway between 6th Ave SW and 7th Ave SW. He pointed his gun at the passenger in the vehicle, Jashaun Taylor. The driver, Shawn Albert, began driving away, and Breyer shot at the vehicle.
