OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Omaha Fire Department released its strategic 5-year plan over the weekend, which serves as a template for guiding the department, according to Fire Chief Kathy Bossman.
The plan consists of “three core themes and nine strategic objectives,” she said, including improving emergency response, adapting to response needs, and better communication of impact and community trust.
“At the heart of our strategic plan is a commitment to exceptional service. I invite you to review the full document to see how we plan to be stronger, more professional, more innovative, and more effective in providing services to our community,” Bossman said.
The full plan may be found on OFD’s website .
