SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Prosecutors have filed charges against a South Bend man for the 2020 homicide of a South Bend mother.

Brandon McLeod has been charged with murder and felony firearm enhancement for his role in the February 2020 death of D’Shila Agnew .

Police say they were called the morning of Feb. 12, 2020, to an apartment in the 1000 block of Patty Lane. When they arrived, they were met by members of Agnew’s family who hadn’t heard from her in a couple of days.

When officers entered the apartment, they found Agnew dead with a gunshot wound to the head.
