They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but that won't be the case for Florida basketball as the Gators hope to learn from their season-opening loss.
Florida coach Todd Golden scheduled an opponent like Arizona with the intention of being tested early in the season, with the hope of identifying areas where his team needed improvement.
The Gators may have gotten a little more than they bargained for as they fell 93-87 to the Wildcats in Las Vegas after leading by as much as 12 in the first half.
