HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Sitting in the back of the room at her Harris County probable cause hearing, 18-year-old Victoire Ashley appears in a courtroom, accused of a crime for the first time in her life.
The high schooler is facing a felony charge for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to court documents.
During Ashley's probable cause hearing, Eyewitness News learned that around noon on Tuesday, she was in the cafeteria of Worthing High School in Sunnyside when a fight began.
"It is alleged that the complainant, who is 17, stated he was fighting with a 3rd party who was your brother," the magistrate said.
The magistrate said Ashley stepped in by picking up several metal chairs and hit the 17-year-old fighting her brother in the back of the head several times.
