AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - A Randall County grand jury decided there’s enough evidence to formally charge a man for his third offense of organized retail theft.
Police arrested Adam Michael Moreno , 37, in August on a warrant for organized retail theft in an amount equal to or greater than $750 but less than $2,500.
The arrest followed a multi-agency investigation spearheaded by Amarillo Police Department that spanned two months.
After months of surveillance, police served a search warrant at a home on Tampa Street, near Georgia Street. They recovered nearly $80,000 of stolen items and arrested Moreno at the home.
He was booked into Randall County Jail and posted a $25,000 bond a few short time later.
