Dibble ahead in race for District 3 Legislature seat

BATAVIA — Gordon Dibble is well enough ahead in his re-election bid in District 3 to return for another term on the Genesee County Legislature.

“I thought the election went very well. I thought Mike and i didn’t get down into the mud at all. I thought we were very respectful of each other,” the Republican and Conservative candidate said the morning after Election Day about his opponent, Democrat Michael Plitt. Dibble leads, 656-323, according to the unofficial results.
