Comedian Bobby Moynihan has recalled a memorable interaction he once had with Val Kilmer, in which the late actor took some footwear from his Saturday Night Live (SNL) dressing room. The shoes were a gift from someone else, but they turned out to be the gift that kept on giving, as Kilmer walked away with an extra pair of kicks. Kilmer was polite enough to ask whether he could have them, even though he had already acquired "a couple" elsewhere — but Moynihan found himself inexplicably giving them to the former Batman star. He recounted the bizarre backstage back-and-forth in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, saying:
