Bid to build up disaster resilience across KP dist, three-day training for community volunteers begins at Tajgi vill

YACHULI, Nov 5: The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Keyi Panyor today commenced a three-day Community Volunteer Training Programme at Tajgi village under Param Putu circle.

Organized under the directive of the Department of Disaster Management (GoAP) to strengthen local disaster preparedness and response capacities, the programme aims to build a cadre of 100 trained community volunteers from the most vulnerable villages across the district. These volunteers will serve as a frontline support force to the District Administration during disaster emergencies and play a vital role in promoting community safety, awareness and resilience at the grassroots level.
