Katie Nolan, a former ESPN host, had some scathing words for her former employer.
It was just a few years ago when sports and gambling were still sort of taboo, and companies wouldn’t think of aligning themselves with them. That was in the past.
ESPN BET officially launched in 2023 and is available in as many as 19 states. Nolan doesn’t understand how ESPN gets away with it.
The former ESPN personality took to her podcast, Casuals with Katie Nolan, and addressed the awkward reality ESPN faced last month when it removed an ESPN Bet banner mid-segment while discussing FBI arrests in an NBA gambling scandal.
