TRENTON, Ohio —
A collective of concerned residents in Trenton is sounding off about a proposed data center that could transform 141 acres of land into a large-scale facility.
Prologis, a California-based real estate company, approached the city to purchase the land near Trenton Industrial Park. The company made the purchase for about $7 million, according to a city official. Advertisement
Tiffany Wilson, a resident of Trenton for more than 40 years, strongly opposes the project.
"This city absolutely cannot accommodate a 1-million-square-foot data center," Wilson said.
Others voiced their concerns about long-term impacts.
"This approval process has many studies that need to be done: environmental health, sound, transportation, roadways," shared Barry Blankenship.
