WINDSOR LOCKS, CT (WGGB/WSHM) - We’re now day 36 into the government shutdown and the Federal Aviation Administration has announced that they’ll be reducing air traffic by 10 percent Friday morning. The reduction taking place across 40 major airports, all in effort to maintain travel safety during the ongoing shutdown.
While most of the travelers we spoke with tell me their flights went according to plan, they say the FAA’s announcement is worrisome for their future travel plans.
