Michigan State Police in Southwest Michigan are conducting a food drive all this month.

MSP Lieutenant DuWayne Robinson out of Paw Paw tells us the five posts in the region — Niles, Paw Paw, Wayland, Marshall, and District Headquarters — all decided they wanted to lend a hand to those in need this season.

“ We just understand that in our community, there are people that are going without, they’re struggling to provide their families just with the basic needs, such as food and other household items,” Robinson said. “ So we just thought it was a good way or a good time of the year for the Michigan State P olice to come together and be more than just an enforcement
