DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- One person was sent to the hospital after a shooting Wednesday night.

The shooting occurred in the 600 block of South College Street shortly after 7:00 p.m.

Dothan Police say the shooting stemmed from an argument between two people.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatning injuries.

The suspect is in custody. Their identity has not been released.
