If the Miami Dolphins fire Mike McDaniel at the end of the 2025 season, he should look into reviving the role of Captain Obvious with Hotels.com.

McDaniel met with the media on Wednesday and was asked about the Buffalo Bills ’ current seven-game win streak over Miami. When asked why Buffalo has had the Dolphins’ number, McDaniel gave the most obvious answer.

“They’ve beaten us because they’ve scored more points and done the right football things longer than we have in those games,” McDaniel told the media.

McDaniel would go on to point out that many of the games in that losing streak were one-score games that came down to Miami making critical mistakes late in the matchups that you would want back. He wasn’t wrong, as many games have been close well into the fourth quarter.
