As voting began for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections on Thursday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Ajay Alok urged voters to come out in large numbers and exercise their democratic right. He asserted that the people of ‘Jungle Raaj’ need ‘Dhulaai’ every five years.
The BJP leader added that the power to bring change lies with the people, calling it their chance to ‘do Dhulaai of politicians’.
Speaking to ANI in Patna, Alok said, “Festival of democracy starts today. I appeal to everyone for a maximum voter turnout. This is the day when you can do ‘Dhulaai’ of the politicians, as the people of ‘Jungle Raaj’ need ‘Dhulaai’ every 5 years.”
