Anne Arundel’s Board of Education on Wednesday modified one of the potential map options for the ongoing redistricting process.

At a public hearing Monday on redistricting, 90 people spoke to the board demanding changes, but no members of the public attended the portion of Wednesday’s meeting where redistricting was discussed.

The board was considering three maps recommended by Superintendent Mark Bedell, with and without board amendments, for a total of six options. At Monday’s meeting, the board voted to remove from consideration all options but the map the members revised at the meeting.

During the meeting, the board voted to modify the third option with board amendments. The new map removes several previously passed amendments and adds new ones. Here are the key differences:
