STONE COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - The holidays are right around the corner, but in Stone County, it’s hitting early.

On November 7th and 8th, 19 different shops are part of the countywide Christmas Open House.

Jack’s Plants & Patio Owner Morgan Peters usually only holds this event in her store, but this year, she decided to expand it.

Peters says, “It was inspiration from another town in North Mississippi, where I would always go shopping with my mom and my grandmother. A lot of the businesses there do the same thing, and I thought it would just be fun for all of us to kind of do this together and hopefully increase traffic. We all want foot traffic in the door.
