BRANDON - Cameron Allard, Jaxon Jacobson and Joby Baumuller each scored two goals as the Brandon Wheat Kings took a 9-4 win over the Swift Current Broncos on Wednesday in Western Hockey League action.

Carter Klippenstein, Nicholas Johnson and Jimmy Egan provided the rest of the offence for Brandon (7-7-1). Filip Ruzicka made 27 saves.

Jace McFaul, Stepan Kuryachenkov, Marek Rocak and Caleb Potter scored for Swift Current (6-8-1). Joey Rocha surrendered six goals on 20 shots before exiting at 7:31 of the second period, with Aiden Eskit stopped 16 of the 19 shots he faced in relief.

The Wheat Kings came out of the first period with a 4-3 lead before really taking off. Brandon scored four straight goals to make it a five-goal game entering the third period.
