BRAWLEY — The Brawley City Council approved several measures Tuesday aimed at improving community engagement, enhancing public safety, and supporting local programs during its regular meeting, the city announced in a statement.
Among the highlights, the Council formally adopted a Vacant Building Registration Program, updating an ordinance last revised in 1996. The new measure is designed to promote property upkeep, reduce blight, and encourage the reuse of vacant buildings. City officials said the effort aligns with broader goals to strengthen neighborhoods and improve code enforcement.
