Patna, Nov 6 (IANS) Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) Vinay Kumar on Thursday said the polling process was being conducted peacefully across the state and no untoward incidents have occurred anywhere.
Speaking to IANS, Vinay Kumar said, “The voting process is being conducted peacefully across Bihar. Paramilitary forces have been deployed at all polling stations, with horse and sector patrols in place. There have been no reports of unrest so far. Voting has been underway for nearly four hours and is proceeding smoothly. I have also cast my vote at my polling centre in Cooperative Colony 432.”
He added, “We can see paramilitary forces stationed at every polling booth, ensuring that the elections are being conducted peacefully. I appeal to all voters to come out and exercise their righ
