A mum said she fears every time her son leaves for school following the discovery of disturbing content on his mobile phone. The 13 year old boy has allegedly been subjected to a series of "unprovoked" hate crimes and racial abuse by fellow pupils at his Maghull school, Merseyside , over the past year.

Karol Krysinski, whose son is in Year 8 at Maricourt Catholic High School, claims she found distressing videos on his mobile showing him being "abused, threatened, and blackmailed."

She said: "He suffered silently each time, overcome with fear and shame." Merseyside Police have confirmed they are investigating the situation after receiving reports of hate crime and assault involving a schoolboy at a school in Maghull.
