Seventy-First football enters the NCHSAA 6A playoffs as the No. 7 seed and two-time regional champion of the former 3A East.

En route to the postseason, the Falcons captured their fifth consecutive conference championship, going 5-0 in the Eastern Sandhills Conference, and averaged 44.7 points per game during the span.
