WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- A security camera captured a frightening moment for a local couple as a man they didn't know jumped in the back seat of their Alfa Romeo as they were pumping gas in West Hollywood.

The fight to get him out of the car was all caught on camera. Now, they're sharing their story exclusively with Eyewitness News.

Star Carter moved in a flash when the stranger suddenly hopped in the back seat. Meanwhile, her husband Mike was temporarily locked in his seatbelt and trying to help.

The video shows Star then forcefully pull the man from the car, sending him tumbling.
