CHEBOYGAN – On the ice, the Cheboygan Chiefs fell short in many of their matchups .
However, there was gradual progress made as the Chiefs had plenty of chances in the hockey games they played in, many of which came against quality opponents.
As Seth Duncan heads into Year 3 as Cheboygan’s hockey coach, the next step is closing the deal in those tighter matchups. In short, he wants his Chiefs to learn how to play from a winning position.
“We’ve got to learn how to close those out,” Duncan said. “When we’ve got a one-goal or two-goal lead, I’m looking to see how we handle that adversity.”
With several experienced players back on his squad, Duncan is aiming for what he hopes will be a big season for the program, which has struggled in recent campaigns. Last year, the Chiefs finished
