Monroe County Community College will offer 11 credit classes at the Whitman Center in Bedford for the upcoming winter semester. The semester begins Jan. 16, and registration is currently underway.
The Whitman Center is at 7777 Lewis Ave. in Temperance, according to a community announcement.
The schedule includes a variety of courses spread across different days of the week. Here is a breakdown of the classes available:
Monday through Friday
Emergency Medical Technician II, 7:30-9 a.m., Room 3. This course is the second in a series of four that lead to a certificate as an Emergency Medical Technician. Students will learn skills required to be an EMT, starting with airway management and oxygen therapy. They will also assess medical and trauma patients and practice these skills with spec
