India’s bowling coach Morne Morkel has shed light on why left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh doesn’t feature regularly in the team’s T20I playing XI. Despite being India’s most successful T20 bowler with over 100 wickets, Arshdeep has often found himself on the bench, with Harshit Rana preferred in recent matches.
Arshdeep, who featured in only two of India’s seven games in the Asia Cup 2025, has delivered impressive performances whenever given a chance. In the third T20I, after missing the first two, he picked up three wickets and was named Player of the Match.
